Part 2 of 6: Family Care advocates prioritize "over-the-counter side effects and interactions" as a useful product feature

Providing clarity around important health decisions is a core tenant of Radius Care. We are building out data processing and analysis capabilities to further support specific patient conditions and needs.

The market for over-the-counter (OTC) supplements is large, with the global dietary supplements Market valued at $151.9 billion in 2021 and an expected compound annual growth rate of 8.9% from 2022 to 2030. However, one of the problems with supplements is that they are not regulated by the FDA, making it harder to gather information on side effects. Furthermore, it is also challenging to understand how supplements interact with prescription medication or other OTC supplements. Despite this, supplements are still widely used, especially for individuals who do not want to consume heavy prescriptions. They often would rather use an OTC option if it will help, so offering more information on OTC supplements would benefit these individuals.

Yet another significant feature requested by survey respondents is care consideration following a diagnosis. Receiving a diagnosis is not only a lot to consider regarding someone's health (and future disease progression), but it can also be a daunting task to navigate the health system to determine best next steps.
