MCRA Welcomes Erica Breese as Reimbursement and Policy Strategic Advisor
The Managed Care Resource Alliance (MCRA) is pleased to welcome Erica Breese, Founder & Principal of London Breese Advisory, as its newest Strategic Advisor.
With more than 15 years of experience spanning reimbursement and policy, at the state and federal levels, Erica brings a valuable perspective on how health plans evaluate solutions, make decisions, and navigate an evolving healthcare landscape.
Her experience across the payer, consulting, and policy environments will add depth to MCRA’s Member conversations, particularly around value-based care, provider and network strategy, virtual care, and government programs.

About Erica Breese
Erica has worked across several areas of managed care, including Medicare Advantage network strategy, provider and vendor contracting, reimbursement, and market strategy. At Regence BlueShield/Cambia Health Solutions, she served as Director of Provider Network Management, leading work related to Medicare Advantage network strategy, value-based care, and contracting. Earlier in her career, she worked on Medicare Advantage product and sales strategy.
Her experience also includes ACA implementation at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and reimbursement and market strategy at Avalere Health, where she worked with health plans, providers, and investors. Today, through London Breese Advisory, Erica helps organizations align their offerings with health plan priorities and build relationships that deliver lasting value. She holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and writes Covered, a newsletter explaining the complexities of the U.S. healthcare system.
Bringing a Health Plan Perspectice to MCRA Members
Erica’s experience offers an important perspective for organizations seeking to understand how health plans evaluate opportunities, prioritize investments, and determine which solutions address their needs.
She brings particular insight into the complexity of health plan decision-making, where priorities can differ across teams and change over time. As she notes, organizations are more likely to succeed when they identify where their solutions meet real needs across the organization, remain flexible as priorities evolve, and focus on delivering value.
Erica is especially interested in conversations about value-based care, provider relationships and contracting, Medicare Advantage, and the policy decisions that shape health plan priorities. She is also focused on healthcare affordability and the need for solutions that simplify the system rather than create additional complexity.
Through her participation in MCRA, Erica looks forward to contributing to breakout discussions, webinars, panels, podcasts, and industry events, sharing perspectives that help MCRA Members better understand the challenges and opportunities facing health plans.
MCRA is pleased to welcome Erica to its Strategic Advisor community and looks forward to the insight and experience she will bring to conversations across the Alliance.
