New Interactive Tool from GoMo Health Helps Health Plans Identify Engagement Gaps and Opportunities

Health plans continue to invest in programs designed to improve member engagement, close care gaps, support adherence, and enhance health outcomes. Yet many organizations still face a common challenge: understanding where engagement begins to break down along the member journey.

To help organizations better identify these opportunities, GoMo Health has launched its Personalized Engagement Journey Builder—an interactive planning tool designed to help health plans explore engagement challenges, uncover potential barriers to follow-through, and identify strategies to improve outcomes across diverse populations.

The tool guides users through three simple questions focused on:
  1. The engagement challenge they are trying to solve

  2. The population they are supporting

  3. The outcomes they hope to achieve

Based on these selections, users receive a personalized engagement map outlining common barriers, engagement considerations, and opportunities to strengthen support throughout the journey.

For managed care organizations, the tool can help explore challenges related to:
  • Closing care gaps

  • Improving preventive care participation

  • Supporting medication adherence

  • Reducing avoidable utilization

  • Enhancing member engagement

  • Strengthening caregiver support

  • Improving workforce and community engagement initiatives

The Builder reflects a growing recognition across healthcare that awareness alone does not guarantee action. Members often face competing priorities, transportation challenges, caregiving responsibilities, financial concerns, health literacy barriers, and other real-life factors that can impact follow-through.

By helping organizations think more strategically about the member experience between touchpoints, the Personalized Engagement Journey Builder provides a practical starting point for identifying opportunities to improve engagement and outcomes.

Health plans and managed care organizations can explore the tool and generate a personalized engagement map in under 60 seconds.
